This course aims to bring a greater awareness of coercive and controlling behaviour in an intimate or family relationship and the differences between these behaviours and stalking and harassment.

 

It will also examine how the change in relationship status impacts on how the different offences are viewed by Police and other

agencies and the mechanisms needed to support victims throughout their journey.

 

The nature of the behaviours of the abuser will also be studied with the opportunity to examine real-life case studies and discuss them in a multi-agency forum.
