Domestic Abuse – Foundation

Free Domestic Abuse – Foundation

This introductory course will revisit the basic concepts of domestic abuse and enable the learner to better understand the differences between relationship fallouts and the power and control associated with domestic abuse.

By the end of the course, delegates should have a greater understanding and awareness of domestic abuse in its various forms, the cycle of abuse and the impact on both individuals and families.

Participants will also develop an awareness of how to support individuals that may be experiencing domestic abuse as well as what to do if a colleague or client is a person who harms.

(An e-learning based “Refresher” will also be developed to ensure that there is continuity for those who chose not to extend their learning with the Advanced courses.)
