Aims: The course is designed to enable participants to recognise and know how to respond to children and young people who are at risk of or who are experiencing harm as a result of Fabricated or Induced Illness and to be confident in following the SCPFII Pathway.
Objectives: On completion of this course, participants should have an understanding of:-
- What is Fabricated and Induced Illness
- How does it present
- How is the management different from other forms of abuses?
- How is FII managed in our Local Authority through the SCP pathway for FII Management
