Children and young people told us that they were concerned about

  • Bullying /Cyberbullying
  • Teachers' understanding and capacity to address bullying effectively
  • Being listened to in school
  • Safer phone use
  • Ketamine Use and the unknown impact
  • Getting lost when travelling / safe travel / feeling safe when travelling alone especially at night
  • The voice of the Young Carer
  • Online harm and exploitation

The Safeguarding Children Partnership are committed to improving support and information for children on those issues.

Please see the poster below which highlights how the Safeguarding Children partnership will respond.

In addition to our Annual conversation we also hold a Speak Out Hub where we are keen to listen to the voice of children and young people and give them the opportunity to design and participate in the work of the partnership.

If you would like to join this meeting which is chaired by Kevin Bradburne from Youth Federation and takes place between 4-6pm every three months, please let us know by dropping us an email at the address below.
